Is it actually common to drink beer warm in the UK?

My husband has just bought a diesel car and before we can drive off anywhere he insists on sitting for a good 5 minutes or more to “warm up the engine”. Is it really necessary or is he just being annoying?

A question asked by my daughter so how many cans of warm beer got changed for cold beer at last years V festival?

Thanks it’s some sort of bet, I don’t drink and am too old to be going to festivals well I think maybe 15 years ago.
I googled it and there was a trade only couldn’t find out how many




You don’t drink beer warm. And the taste is just horrible. Like warm piss.

I’m from Germany, though, I admit, so I have high standards on the beer issue.

How do you brew beer so that it tastes like warm piss?




This got me thinking when aussies say us poms drink warm beer.
I think they have got it wrong and it is indeed the aussies who drink warm beer for no matter how far they chill a beer because of their weather it is warm before they manage to finish it.
