Author: admin | Filed under: GadgetsRight I got a call from the Sauchiehall Street store yesterday asking me if I could go for an interview on Tuesday for the store they’re opening in Braehead. The trouble it I can’t remember all that I was to bring. The guy on the phone said bring an object that I can speak about but because I was at Buchanan Bus Station I couldn’t hear what he was saying clearly because of the noise. I assume I.D will be required but can anyone else (perhaps someone who has had an interview with Red5) please help by suggesting what I should expect from the interview process? Many thanks.
I’ve got a job interview for Red5 (the Gadget Shop) but can’t remember what I need to bring with me.?
Author: admin | Filed under: GadgetsI have a bluetooth speaker that I bought for my elderly grandmother. I will place it on the shelf, close to her ears, so she can hear the sound from her TV.
I bought a bluetooth sender unit (the type that are used with i-pods etc), with the intention of connecting it to the TV. I had no trouble getting it to work, but the types I’ve tried require; charging first, then disconnecting from the charger before they can operate (on battery power).
My Grandmother has poor control of her fingers, and finds it difficult mastering technical gadgetry. She doesn’t like wearing the wireless headphones she has either.
Can anyone recommend a product that I can leave connected to the mains, which will transmit sound from the telly to the bluetooth speaker?
Or does anyone know of type of speaker that will receive the infra red signal from her wireless headphones transmitter?
I need help finding the correct bluetooth gadget for a specific purpose?
Author: admin | Filed under: GadgetsI don’t need anything fancy. In fact less fancy the better so no one will steal it! I currently try and write notes for my Masters whilst travelling to work, but it’s hard to write on a bumpy train so want to type instead. It needs to be very small but able to hold a lot of notes, but nothing other than that. I don’t even know if such a thing exists!!
Should have said not audio – I don’t think the other passengers would appreciate it!
I need a small, cheap, electronic gadget so I can make notes while I’m on the train. Any suggestions?
Author: admin | Filed under: GadgetsI live in a flat in my block there is 4 floors, 2 on each floor. The floor opposite me has been broken into twice, im scared that im going to be next as I am away alot. Is there any kind of device i can put outside my door in the hallway/landing to keep an eye out? and thing that i can disguise and somethin that records videos like 24hour or somethin. Preferably something small, i know theres peep hole cameras but im not sure they record or how to record footage of them?
Our security door at the bottom doesnt lock and i have been on the phone to my factors twice now,
my door and the other flat door are 2 metres apart, i feel that putting a full size camera would really attract attention and may start something
I need some kind of spy gadget for the door of my flat….?

I make regular visits to Italy and I obviously need to use an adaptor to plug in some of my English gadgets, but I am going to Germany for a change in June. I was just wondering, does Germany have the same plug sockets as Italy?
I have tons of wires connected to my pc and would like to clear them, but would prefer not to have to buy a new printer. Are there any gadgets that would make things wireless? Its a HP 1510 printer, and I have a computer with vista. I am in the UK.
