BLC is terrible, biggest gimmick of a game i’ve seen for a long time. combat is clunky as hell not to mention laggy, and half the abilities don’t even hit when the animation is right on top of the enemy. i guess anyone dumb enough to believe a F2P game is worthy of competitive pvp deserves that kind of game anyway

  10. I played BLC in beta and it seems like a really balanced and skill based game, something the online pc community needs.

  14. blc is really fun, but its more fun with team mates and not pug, although that goes with every game, talking over vent or whatever makes it so that team work is used in the game and if you have team work in blc then you shall dominate

  18. @bloodtotem10 I do see your point and it is valid most of the time, but it can’t be taken as a rule. As long as you stay to things that are similar but not the same it is no problem when you are comparing games. The rest? It is your opinion and everyone is free to have theirs ofc.

  20. @bloodtotem10 Just because a game is in the same genre doesn’t mean you can compare it in all ways. In some ways it’s easy to compare games, like graphics. However(I’ll take ME2 and DA2 as an example) those games are not comparable in some ways because one is a FPS and the other is a hack and slash. They are both similar in many ways: conversations, graphics and immersion can all be compared. On the other hand you can’t compare the gameplay as hack and slash is too different from FPS.

  24. if you want a game mostly based on skill you’ll find it in BLC, if you want a game based on luck and skill LOL is where you’ll find. LoL is more casual imo

    BLC is compared to LoL/HoN because it is in the same category of gaming. MOBA. Multiplayer Online Battle Arena. That describes all three of the games listed, and it is therefore in competition with, and easily compared to its counter parts. It uses a single champion online with other people, it doesnt matter if theres items, mana, or toggle and skill shot spells. Those are all minor differences. Does Dragon Quest use the same mechanics as FF13? No. But they are both RPG’s.

  30. bloodlines was awsome but then they restricted the free charicters instead of having them all you only get a rotation of 4 charicters a week. and now it blows

  34. @PurepOis0n123 Well I got a chuckle out of it, not because it was funny but because it was kind of clever…… Then again I laughed through the Saw movies and paranormal activity, which were supposed to be scary….. apparently…… so ya I guess I do have a strange sense of humor, and no I am not psychotic or anything I just found the situations had very little….. substance, I guess thats the best word for it.

  40. @mejustben LoL disapointed me by skipping the key element of denying creeps or tower. This ONE thing repulse me from playing it.

    Can’t wait for it, and if anyone hasn’t palyed the first and enjoys RPGs check it out on steam.

  46. I played it and liked bloodline champions. Only dislike is you can only play 1 character of each class. I find that to be dumb and it ruins the whole aspect of free to play in that sort of arena based environment. Just because of that, I don’t suggest it.
