To cover switches on power plugs so that my son can’t turn the PC off again??

he’s nearly 18 months – they are high up but he can get on the sofa
Oh please WW111 I was actually getting him some milk – they can run pretty fast you know!!
OMG Jo he opens the fridge already – he nicked the milk today took me ages to realise where he’d put it – it was nicely stored in the bookcase lol

there are covers that spring over the sockets …dunno how old your son is but they may stop him from trying
if you paid more attention to your kid, instead of letting him cry at your feet for attention while your on the computer, problem solved. no need for an enabling device

edit, kat my brother came downstairs one morning and found his 3yr old and 2yr old eating chocolate cake with their fingers and drinking a can of beer because they had learnt how to open the fridge door that had a lock on it, luckily it wasnt a full can ! lol x
The only thing I can think of is if you have the socket front changed to a switch less one, I cant find anything that covers the entire socket/switch, good luck.

Yes I am almost sure there would be something you could use, try a bettawear catalogue they are full of useful (and useless) stuff. If not then i would jsut type something like what you want in a search engine adn see what comes up.

My best answer is to praise good behavior and reprimand dangerous issues such as these… Take the kitchen for example and a boiling pot of water – a child could easily reach up and yank the handle and dump water on themselves…
i.e. you could ask her to put a cantaloupe behind the back tire of the car and to stand back, then then tell her to look and slowly pull back… The effect is dramatic and that explains why not to play behind the car!

I had some socket covers from mother care that had a bit that stuck out to cover the switch as well but I am going back 16 years.. I would give them a go if you havnt already.

I had gold fishes fed tomato soup from the fridge. Couldn’t see the bloody fish. LOL
