Do I need some new adaptors when I got to Germany?

Author: admin | Filed under: Gadgets

I make regular visits to Italy and I obviously need to use an adaptor to plug in some of my English gadgets, but I am going to Germany for a change in June. I was just wondering, does Germany have the same plug sockets as Italy?

  1. No – all of continental Europe – including all of the former Soviet Union – uses the same electrical plugs and adapters. Only the UK uses a different plug configuration from the rest of Europe. The adapters you bought for Italy will work the same way in Germany.
