Classic Game Room – HALO SPECIAL EDITION XBOX console review

Classic Game Room reviews the HALO SPECIAL EDITION XBOX console from 2004 which is a clear green color and says Halo: Special Edition on the front. The Halo Special Edition Xbox looks awesome and plays Xbox games with that funky Green style that the normal Xbox doesn’t deliver. Inspired by Master Chief and Klingon blood, the green Xbox is dope and says Xbox Halo Special Edition!!!

  6. @MrSpencerprime look at the excluives. See what you think you would prefer. Then, after weighing it up, get a Sega Dreamcast and play some real games.

  8. @MrSpencerprime if you want to play online, watch movies and do some other stuff then playing games on your console, go get a PS3. If not, buy the Xbox, it’s cheaper.

  14. @tgod717 yes it had, even the xbox live service, not like we know it today but you could download stuff, like DLC, demos, additional shit for your games and also had multiplayer

  16. Ahhhhhh original xbox…my first gaming machine and it still works perfectly, although I have a 360 now but I still like relive some old memories…A.K.A. play games that don’t work on my 360 XD

  24. I have this console. A retro store was giving free Xbox units away last Christmas if you bought $100 worth of games. I went up with a black console and they offered me the green one. :)

  28. There is plenty reason to get an old school xbox if you are planning to mod it. I softmodded mine and use it for my media center. It’s awesome.

  32. these guys are so bias i never realized it xbox was a more powerful system whey ps2 was its main competitor and catered to more average gamer . i agree it was big but it was reliable never overheated and could be moved from house to house for halo parties before the days of online gaming and im not a fan boy i always buy both systems every generation sega and nintendo 64 and ps1 xbox ps2 360 and ps3 and so on

  50. you can’t have a customize radio station if you play san andreas on the 360 which means i bought an orginal :)
