Secret Sony Hologram Prototype! -The Ray Modeler Demo -SGNL by Sony

So this is pretty awesome: we have a visitor from the Sony labs who brought some seriously futuristic tech to the SGNL studio. The Ray Modeler is a tabletop 3D display – you can view the imagery from all sides, just like it’s a real object. Ryo “Joe” Kajiura from Sony R&D tells us a little bit about how it works and how we can expect to see the technology used in the future. If you wonder who give that a “thumb down” THAT’S ME.
Why ? Cause that’s just a spinning monitor……And you call that innovation ??
There are patent’s on volumetric displays of that kind wich are something like 30 years old….cmon….
The only thing wich is near to some COOL STUFF is that air ionizer laser made by Japanese researchers , wich “plots” voxels in the air…problem is…THAT’S LASER LIGHT…
