International Men’s Day on November 19 is celebrated in many different nations in many different ways. International Men’s Day enjoys a unique partnership with Universal Children’s Day on the 20th of November which was set up by the United Nations. International Men’s Day is a day to celebrate positive male role models ad the contribution men make t society, community and the important role as husbands and fathers. Other areas of focus for International Men’s Day include Mens health, and well-being, social, emotional, physical and spiritual as well as rectifying the area of discrimination that men still experience in the modern world. The overriding purpose of International men’s Day is to improve gender relations between men and woman and promote gender equality and to create a safer and better world where people can grow o reach their full potential.
