Does beer always leave a nasty taste in your mouth (whether you like it or not)? Do you like it?
Author: admin | Filed under: BoozeI don’t really.
I’ve had Tiger, Cobra, Stella, Carlsberg, Carling (One one occasion, the last tow haven’t been too bad… but only one!!) and Rolling Rock
I’ve had the Carlsberg in the green and white cans, not the Special brew.

no it doesnt. maybe you should spend a little more money and buy a decent beer that actually tastes nice lol !
yeah it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
call me un-Australian but I can’t stand the taste of beer.
I wish I didn’t like it as much as I do because it’s caused me a lot of problems over the years, I haven’t had one since early monday and I’m gagging for one now, but I’m trying to resist it.
it’s winning though, one more call and I’m gone. woo hoo
Yes it does leave a nasty taste
It’s horrible!
I sometimes find that adding just a little Sprite or lemon soda to my beer takes away that bitterness that is sometimes overwhelming, especially with really dark beer like Guinness.
You could also add a splash of fruit juice, too.
The only time I don’t do it is when I’m eating crabs or lobster. There is nothing like sitting down at a table covered in newspaper with a big pan of freshly steamed crab, a dish of butter and an ice cold beer ready.
yes it leaves a nasty taste kinda and a nasty smell in your mouth and no i don’t think anyone enjoys it
I agree with you, It leaves some unpleasant taste after you carry out from it.
i luff it -x
nasty beer leaves a nasty taste in my mouth, and no I don’t like it.
Good beer does not!
some beers do yeah but i like beer and i always have becks and that doesnt leave any bad taste. stronger beers like cobra may do though. carlsburg is nice and doesnt leave any bad tastes.
if your from the states quit drinking steel reserves and if your from gb then lay off the pints of carlsburg special brew both will leave a taste you dont want. try corona with lime or drink queer/cunt drinks that smirdoff crap its really just a aquired taste man if you dont like the taste try something else till you do thats why there isnt 1 kind of anything theres thousands of different beer theres 1 out there
No beer does not always leave a bad taste in your mouth, but it always leaves an aftertaste. The beers that you have mentioned are all lager styles (hoppy), mass produced and high in chemicals. The bitter hops and chemicals are leaving a bad taste.
Scottish beers are often made from malts and these leave a sweeter aftertaste, Belgian beers are usually from a different style of hops and often leave a fresh, almost grassy aftertaste. Try a wide variety of beers, not just lagers, from around the world and you should notice a difference.
Love it! No bad after taste if its a good beer. Skip the pabst blue ribbon
It depends on the beer what the aftertaste is like. Sam Adams Summer Ale leaves this amazing, bread-y wheat taste, which I really like a lot.
I really like Bud and Heineken and my favorite is a Dominican beer Presidente
It could be the taste of glycerin or isinglass, used to clarify the beer after brewing.
I tried a bottle of Kaliber once. That had a strange metallic aftertaste, like you’d left some foil in the beer for a week. Even if you made a shandy with it (lager and lemonade to our US cousins), you couldn’t get rid of it. Not sure that’s strictly beer though
)
You should try Beck’s or a Czech lager like Budavar (not Budweiser…yuck!) made under the Rheinheitsgabot (German Purity Laws), as I’ve found they tend not to have an aftertaste. Better quality too.
That doesn’t always include the brews made under licence or those made in the US, as they have to conform to the 3.2% limit (?), so they are watered down compared to European beers..
I come from a family of canal boatmen who married a family of brewers – no hope for me!
I have a canal boat and drink my beer in pints.
You seem to be drinking just bottom-fermented beers (lagers); have you explored the top-fermented ones (ales)? Some of these are very “hoppy” and need some getting used to.
There is a whole Brave New World out there for you to explore – don’t give up yet.
If you don’t like sweet, cold drinks, then a cold lager on a hot day is about as refreshing as you can get.
Carling is my least favourite of the lagers you mention.
