  2. Put on a pair of rubber gloves and brush the carpet with your hands. Its amazing how much more you’ll get out!

  4. Use a damp washcloth and wipe it over the uphholstery. You don’t have to rub hard, but you do have to apply some pressure. When the cloth gets full of hair, clean it off, rinse it out, and do some more.

Some people use masking tape wrapped around their fingers, or lint rollers, but I’ve found that damp washcloths (or cloth rags) work better than anything else.

    Good luck!

  5. I have 2 spaniels who seemed to leave more hair (white on a black carpet) in my car, I use parcel tape, wrap loads around your hand so the sticky bit is on the outside and the non sticky is touching your hand and basically dab the tape all around where the hairs are and they will stick to the tape, when you have loads of hair on the tape just put some more tape around your hand.

  9. yeah the cloth sounds good but brush it up first, it will be harder to brush when damp.
Next time you take the dogs out place a blanket over the seat thats what i do you can keep it in the boot.

  14. Pet store have “ZOOM GROOM” brush which has fingersabout 3/4″ long that when the dog or cat is groomed statically attract loose hair from the animal—my cats love it!!!

The back sikde of the tool has an emblem formed on it with maybe 1/8′ relief that I have found extremely useful for removeing cat hair from blankets, upholstery , clothing. My cat is a free shedding long hair and it gets everywhere all the time. Both side of this brush work for removing hair from furniture, blankets, cloth of one sort or another.

It never gets full and loses stickiness !

Its the rubber that makes the difference.

  16. parcel tape.

if the carpet is black – spray with a black suede shoe cleaner and allow to dry…..(I sound like a dodgy 2nd hand car salesman! LOL)

  18. The best thing is to get some very sticky thick tape. You can lay strips of it down and rip it off, or wrap it round your hand and “brush”.
