What is the best computer monitor to buy when budget is around 150GBP for gaming and dvd.?

I have seen acer 22 inch lcd and cibox tft 22 inch and don’t know much about screens. Like wide screen, they both are. Any advice when budget is around 150GBP?

  1. You can find a good acer 17″ for 105 euro’s on
    http://www.dabs.com they have some others on their as well.

  2. If you are really into gaming and DVD then get a large TV screen and adapter. You can have up to 60 inch and great fun. HDTV will do the job.

  3. I’m using an Acer AL2216Wb that I bought at http://www.tigerdirect.com for $179US after rebate. It is gorgeous. I have it hooked to a Avocet Switchview 1000 and use it with 10 different computers running XP Pro 32 bit, Vista 32 and 64 bit, Ubuntu, OpenSUSE 10.2 and Kubuntu. All look great on it. Don’t game so can’t comment on that but runs DVD’s nicely.
