How do you get rid of the smell of dog from the upholstery in your car?

get new upholstery in your car. Its very hard to get smells out of fabric especially if the dog was in the car on a daily basis.

I use Fe breeze on everything after a light soap and water on the seats. It works wonderfully for me but I use the Febreeze several times over a week or so. Good Luck!!
Make soapy water using Dawn dishwashing liquid and add 1/4 cup of vinegar and some lemon juice (to one gallon). Make sure you check the crevices in the seats, as that’s a hard place to get the smell out of. And don’t saturate your seats… you just want to get the smell out, not shampoo it… at least not yet. That would be my next step– shampooing it. If all else fails, take it to a detail shop and have them handle it. Last I knew, it didn’t cost an arm and a leg to do it, but that could’ve changed and I don’t know about your area.
