What’s the right sized hole for the entrance to the slug beer trap?
Author: admin | Filed under: BoozeStill having problems… the slugs were being caught in the trap but the snails weren’t. So I made the holes bigger and yesterday I found a dead mouse in it. Poor thing, it was all bloated, bobbing about in the beer.

that is just gross…
depends on the size of the slug you trapping
3 foot x 4 foot. I could fall in easy then!
Beer traps can work, but again have to be dealt with often to be really effective. Half-empty beer cans can be buried up to the lip in the soil near slug-damaged plants. The slug is attracted to the scent of yeast in the beer and falls into the can, drowning in beer. The beer and can must be changed every few days.
I don’t really know where slugs go for a drink but the beer trap I like to go to has a regular size door entrance.
i would stop using bears to trap slugs oh wait u said beer oh nevermind
The bigger the hole the more slugs will come.
If you pour it , they will come.
