  1. Probably between 500-700 calories depending on how participative you were.

  2. It really depends on your weight. If you are quite heavy then you will have burned more calories.
It also depends on how active you were during that game. Did you do alot of running back and forth or was the posession mainly at the other end of the pitch?
Try this online calculator. It takes your weight and the activity into account, and how long you played for. It should give you a good idea of how many calories you burned. I hope this helped:

  4. Coach Paul says:
  5. Your body burns a certain amount of calories each day whether you exercise or not. We each have what is called a Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR). This rate gradually decreases with age. To the BMR you add the total calories used during the day due to all exercise and activity, which gives you your Active Metabolic Rate.

I am 6′, 170 lbs and 52 years old. My basal metabolic rate is about 1700 calories burned per day. To that number I can add whatever calories I burn during the day due to activity and exercise. That will tell me approximately how many total calories I will burn up in a day.

Once you know this number you can eat however many calories you choose in order to lose, gain or maintain your weight. You burn about 3500 more calories than you consume to lose a pound.

I have a page posted at my website that explains this further. You can also input your own info to see your own numbers as far as calories used in a day.

    Good health and good luck!

  6. It depends on your weight and how much you ran. my guess would be around 500 calories. I just checked a calculator and for 90 minutes of full contact football, a 140 lb person would burn 919 calories, but that would be the whole game. And I am not sure what your weight is, but if you go to http://www.healthstatus.com/calculate/cbc you can enter your weight on the top, and there are many other different activities to look at for calories burned. For football there is passing, touch, and full contact. Click on one of those and enter the time you played. I now football players sweat a lot so that might cause you to loose weight. Make sure you drink a lot of water before and after your game to stay healthy and hydrated. Please take a look at the site and I hope it helped!
