Hi, what gadget should I use to turn the edges of fine material eg chiffon- I have a Husqvarna Viking machine.

I am trying to turn the edges of the material (chiffon or georgette)- does anyone have any idea what gadget to use for this and how to use it? I can’t manage to get the material through the hemmer! Thanks.

  2. With such fine material I always do it by hand. I find it a much neater finish.

  4. Not sure if this will work, but have you thought to try using hemming tape?

  6. use dressers’ paper to add thickness. after sewing, rip it out. change machine setting to silk and go slow.

  10. You need a special hemming foot that has a scroll on.
    Check your manual, you may have one already. Good luck
